Thanks Carol.
Benching Baertschi never helped him. Don't know why it would have a different effect on Goldy.
TG....
Maybe next season JB will find a coach that can actually help out some of the younger players. |

Good luck to Leivo. He could never put a good string together in Toronto, but I still liked the way he played. Here's hoping he has a good long career in Vancouver. |

goldobin is 3rd in points, 5th in ppg. Too much emphasis is made on the age of which Travis Green holds players accountable. Vets shouldn't be excluded from the conversations, as young players shouldn't either. If ANY player plays bad, hold them accountable. To me, benching Goldobin for Schaller is IMO a bad call. Elias Pettersson is our offensive driver right now, and Goldobin is riding shotgun.

Accountability and mentorship are over rated. They need a tough coach, to teach them to fight more. |

Guddy instructs the young kids how to drop the mitts in practice, don't even need a tough coach for that when you have him. |

Huh? Didn't Baer usually respond with goals/points in the following games? |

Schaller is scratched lots. Goldobin has sucked the last few games and deserves to be parked for a bit. He is nothing without EP |

I'm not saying Goldobin should be exempt from being scratched, that's not it at all. Between him and Schaller though, I am just not sure I agree. Granlund has played every game this year, 11 points, -7. Eriksson has played every game as well. I am just not sure Goldy would have been my very first choice to scratch is all. LE would have been my primary choice for benching.
And Goldobins primary points have been assists, but EP benefits tremendously from Goldobin, whether its zone entries or primary assists. I like them playing together, and I think them and Brock could be a good thing in the future. |

I would take Tim Horvat over Travis Green at this point. |

Green should put Shalsey and Leevsey with Petey for the next twenty games so Benning can flip them at the deadline for 1st round picks. |

Doesn’t Goblin have a sh!t load of second assists? I really don’t like him. He is necessary for now though until we can draft somebody to play with EP. |

secondary or primary, I haven't really kept track, but hes contributing, and that's all I care about. And I agree, I am not sure Goldy and EP will be linked at the hip moving forward, but until EP does get that proper line mate, It doesn't hurt his development, or his chances at the calder, to have a decent playmaker in Goldy continuously feed him the puck. |

Seattle is a GREAT move by the NHL. Finally a geographical rival for the Canucks. This will be great for the fans and obviously will cut down on the Canucks insane travel schedule. |

The NHL will still screw them over. They’ll have a roadrip where they go Vancouver - Boston - Dallas - Seattle - New Jersey - Winnipeg - Vancouver.
